Good value

Thought I'd drop in as I'm in the area a ot and was pleasantly surprised. The owner was friendly and the service attentive.
Their lunch specials for $8-$9 are a deal. Lots of food, certainly more than you can eat so you get take out for dinner too. And the food was tasty. It's Cantonese but luckily has a numner of spicy dishes.Try it.

Good food Great value.

Had their lunch special the other day. Soup, rice, a bit of salad, tea, and any one of a number of main course dishes. I had the dai ching chicken. All for $6.50.
The food was as good as I've had and there was actually too much of it. Absolutely authentic taste. I left thinking they should increase their prices a bit and decrease their portions as I certainly would not want to see them not survive.
The server was pleasant and thorough. It's a tiny place in a strip mall so it's a great place to eat, and take out but not dine.
A delightful place. I will return many times.

It's small yet intimate with several big screen tvs.
Alcohol prices are very reasonable.
Stan is genial, attentive and friendly.
The food though is the star. To get this good a pizza - excellent crust, lots of fresh tasty fillings at this price (under $10 for a small - which is big enough for anyone) is the reason to come.
Certainly superior to and far less costly than the norm.

This is a good place to eat. The hot and sour seafood pho comes out in about 3 minutes seasoned perfectly and always with a smile.
Great comfort food for a quick, or lingering lunch or dinner.
All the reviews of rude waiters at pho restaurants in general does not apply here. Or perhaps people should smile at the waiter and be polite when they speak to them. They may well be surprised at the response.

Don't eat here

Said to some friends - let's try someplace new. What a mistake.
The burger was dry and no sauce. You could have snapped it like a twig. The "home fries" , all 5 of them, were only such if they were brought from the cook's house in his suitcase. The salad was just ok but a misnomer, as 2 pieces of lettuce does not a salad make.
One of the guys is a coleslaw addict but didn't eat it because it was the worst he'd ever had. The beef dip was beef gristle.
Understand we're older guys, been around a while and don't complain. What's the point. Any cook, or anyone for that matter, can have an off day but this was bad.
Waitress was friendly but ineffective. Decor is so so.
Perhaps managment will use these and other comments to monitor their kitchen better, especially during these days of fiscal restraint.
Give them a chance if you like, however, be prepared.

On a friend's recommendation I dropped by for lunch and had one of the best dai ching chicken dishes ever. It was a large portion, perfectly seasoned, that came with a choice of soup and tea, rice and a palate cleansing salad. The cost was $6.95. Stupid cheap.
Service was attentive, decor pleasant. A teffific deal for lunch.
I noted their dinner menu was extensive and their prices reasonable.
Certainly I will return.

Being non Asian but having enjoyed dim sum since the early 70s, I thought I'd give it a try. It's hard to believe this place was so highly rated. The food was passable only and given the price made it a poor value. There are so many other restaurants with prices much lower that they must be continuing on name only. Certainly I will not return.
