I've been there twice and it's been excellent both times. Seriously. I took my family there and they love it as well. The service is great as well. Vij came to say hi and he was pretty friendly. His food incorporates other tastes (other than typical indian food) with the indian spices. The best bet is to try a few dishes for sharing. I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed.
They don't take any reservations so be there early. If you don't make it in the first seating, they will take your name down for the second seating and they give you free appies whilst you wait. You can try out their drinks and have some appies and you'll have a great time.

I will not try any other place for Sushi. My parents have tried all of these highly recommended sushi restaurants all over town (Richmond, Vancouver) and they also claim that nothing compares. I tell people that this is the best sushi i've ever tried but they don't believe me b/c it's in Surrey. Hey, it's their loss that they won't venture into Surrey from the Van and I'm hoping they don't come b/c I might not be able to get a seat when it's busy! It's Surrey's best kept secret.
I highly recommend their crab salad, salmon salad, tuna salad, and chirashi (sashimi, scallops...etc. on rice with tabiko). When around for lunch-their lunch boxes are great (sushi and sashimi). Whenever I eat sushi i go there. I'm highly picky when it comes to food especially sushi. Their food is ALWAYS fresh.
Prices are a tad higher than other sushi spots, but their quality surpasses any other places.

This place is excellent for their samosas. Nothing beats it. They are fried, but they taste great - not mushy and the potatoes are individual and there is a great texture to it. They taste clean -not super greasy tasting. Just finally tried their butter chicken (great - not too creamy - cleaner tasting) and goat curry - great as well. The food tastes light and not too heavy like some indian food.
The lady is really nice and polite as are her kids who help her out. She even gave me some bonus sweets and they were tasty.
I recommend this place for take out and it definitely hits the spot when I'm craving Indian food. Sometimes when I start thinking about their samosas, I need to have it. I can't get it out of my head.
