...Dared to mention a Birthday!
Submitted Monday, October 29, 2007 - 11:11pm [Dine in]

Yesterday was our daughters birthday. We didn't have time to go downtown, but wanted to give something new a try.

Montana's has been open for awhile in our area, but we have never been.

We all had different items, and they were all solid. Nothing spectacular but definately acceptable.

At the end of our meal they put a funny hat on our 13 year old's daughters head and sang her happy birthday. She was definately embarrased and it made us all laugh.

We have some good pictures, and would definately go there again for a family outing.

Going Down Hill!
Submitted Sunday, October 7, 2007 - 9:30pm [Dine in]

We have been going to Capone's for years for Food, Drink and Live Jazz. Unfortunately we will no longer be going there for food.

In August we went for the Aniversary. We purchased the 3 course meal with complimentary Champagne. The food was terrible, the service was terrible, and we never recieved our Champagne. We also noticed that the prices overall had gone up.

In September we went again, assuming that maybe it was a bad night in August. I ordered the Wild Mushroom Linguine(which I have had countless times). This time it was not edible. It had an off taste(poison), and we returned it.

Wanting to give Capone's yet another try we went again in October. Again I ordered the Wild Mushroom Linguine. This time the sauce had a strong taste of alcohol(was not reduced properly). We also ordered the 3 course meal. The starter was good, the Bison was good, but the "Blueberry" cheesecake(with Balsamic Vinegret) was disgusting.

Hopefully things will change at Capone's. For now however, I dont see myself going again anytime soon.
