I feel I have had a similar dining experience to many of the other people who have commented on this restaraunt. I went with a party of 14 and had dinner reservations, but had to wait 20 minutes to get our table because it was so busy in there. We couldn't order drinks while we were waiting either. The food was great, but I wasn't sure what came with the standard entree when I placed my order and made the mistake of ordering too much food. You get a soup, never ending rice with their famous "steak sauce" and your entree. I had the newyork steak and terryaki chicken. It also came with veggies and sprouts. But I ordered an appitizer of fried tofu (the fish sauce wasn't very good) and an order of egg fried rice which was really good. Service for drinks was slow as the restaraunt was really busy, but the food prep was fun and helped create a very social and vibrant atmosphere. I will probably go back if I am with a large group that wants to drink a fair bit while eating.

If you like Earls/Moxies this is right up your alley

Basically the same restaraunt as Earls/Moxies with standard items at good prices. I find myself surprised when a meal here can cost $15 while fast food is about $9-10 a meal. The food isn't great if your looking for dining, but it's alright and can even be pleasant. The servers there are all 18-24yr old people hired because of looks. They are all nice and chatty but have no idea about food other than memorizing ingredients on a menu.

I went to the Wharfside with my girlfriend, sister and father in January 07. The majority of my experience was pretty aweful. The layout in the restaraunt was horrible. Our waitress was pleasant enough though.
When taking our drinks, my first three selections of local beer (all of which were supposed to be on tap) they were out of. They had a sign right outside advertising a special on pints and I couldn't even order one. I had to settle for a bottle of sleeman's. I ordered the soup and blue cheese burger. The soup came and was disgustingly cold. We had all ordered soup and sent them all back which she said she would have them "nuked". I don't expect to have microwave food when I go out. However, the soup was very good once warmed up to my surprise. The burger was very dissapointing. The patty was "Angus beef" but was highly processed and looked like a frozen burger you would buy at the supermarket. The bluecheese was nice though. The price for a burger was ridiculous for the quality. If it had been a decent home-made patty, I would have no complaint.
I have read the other reviews and agree that this place is a disgrace. Do not go there!
