Delishious Thai Food
Submitted Sunday, March 18, 2012 - 12:15pm [Dine in]

This is a fantastic little Thai restaurant in downtown Langley. The place is nicely decorated, and the servers are warm and friendly. My wife and I have are regulars diners and have tried several of the dishes on the menu (and have always been very satisfied). Some of our favorites include: Papaya Pok Pok salad, red curry pork, pad thai, and the BBQ duck with lychee. The prices reflect the taste and quality of the food: a dinner for two with appy and 3 main dishes costs about $50. For best value, try the 9$ lunch special which includes an appy, salad, main dish, rice and dessert. I'm getting hungry just thinking of the wonderful smells and tastes of this gem in Langley!

Best sushi in Langley
Submitted Sunday, March 18, 2012 - 11:53am [Dine in]

My wife and I have been coming here for over 3 years. It's our favorite sushi place outside of Richmond/Vancouver. The sashimi is always fresh and delicious. Large variety of rolls, and the portions are very generous. About a year ago they updated the decor and dropped their prices. Since then we've noticed this place has become very popular. During the mid-week it's not too busy and service is friendly and fast. However, on weekends after 6:30pm the place is packed and service can be rather slow. Once food is ordered, it arrives quickly, but there are not enough servers to check in on patrons regularly. When ordering take-out, on a busy night the order takes over 45 min. Yet the price, quality and taste of the food makes up for the service. Our favorites include: prawn tempura, toro sashimi, negitoro roll, yam roll, unagi dynamite roll, chopped scallop roll. Prices are very reasonable with most rolls in the $4-$6 range.

My new favorite pizza place
Submitted Sunday, March 18, 2012 - 11:24am [Dine in]

I received their grand opening flyer and was in the mood for pizza, so I decided to take a chance on this place. The menu has a great selection of specialty pizzas. I called for take out and ordered the Hot & Spicy pizza and the House Special. My order was made very quickly (ready in 15 min). Finding the place was a challenge: it's located in a strip mall with not much signage. However, the effort was worth it. Both pizzas were delish! Toppings were generous, good quality cheese, tasty crust. Two medium specialty pizzas cost about $25 (plenty of food for three adults with leftovers). I'll definitely order from them the next time I'm craving pizza.
