We went here on a Saturday afternoon and had the best seafood chowder. The fish an chips were great too, but the friendly atmosphere topped it off. On the first Saturday of each month there is what Newfoundlanders call, a 'screech in' where you kiss the Cod, have a drink and enjoy a classic kitchen Party.
