I like Earl's ... and have been to many. Usually try the seasonal dishes... this night was good - good food, good service, good atmosphere ...
And the air conditioner certainly works -- I had to put my jacket bakc on as it was just too cold.
I, too, have driven by this place on the highway many times and finally decided to take the plunge. The waitress was very nice ... and so was the atmosphere ...
however, we ordered tea, and I don't know what brand they use but the flavor was awful - and the water not very hot.
For an appy, we tried the 4 dip plate ... it was ok, but not enough bread
For dinner, we shared the seafood soulvaki ... the fish was delicious, but the vegetables were not. The mashed potatoes were bland, and the green beans were odd tasting. We finally squeezed lemon over all and that zipped up the flavor.
For dessert we tried their echmeck ... darn - John's Taverna in Surrey has spoiled me!
Members of our Spiritual Community have been having lunch here on Sundays for over a year. There is a great varied menu, consistently well cooked food, good portions, and great service (especially Wendy).
My sweetie and I love Thai food and were delighted to find this restaurant in the Brookswood Centre on 200 St. All ingredients were fresh, the food was spiced just right, and the service was delightful. This is a "must return to" place!
