I have to say, Stepho's is probably the best Greek restaurant in Vancouver in terms of value. There are other fine Greek restaurants but they all overcharge for what you get. I don't know how this place charges so little for such huge portions. But it's not just the quantity but it's pretty tasty too. Some of the below reviews say the souvlaki wasn't good but I enjoyed mine every time...especially the chicken. The spanokopita is excellent as the phyllo crust is nice and crisp. The roast lamb, lasagna and the barbecue chicken dinner are very good. The clams are very good too. Make sure you save some pita bread to dip into the broth.
Some reviewers have complained about the calamari and I too have tried it when it was good and bad. My friend and I talked to one of the cooks there and he claims it depends on the supplier. The pregutted and cleaned calamari does not taste good as it's too mushy. However, I've been lucky lately as the calamari has been pretty good. Maybe there were a lot of complaints.
All of the above mentioned dishes are good but the best is the ribs. It's not on the menu as it's only available as a "special of the day" which is on Sunday and Thursday. I've tried it only handful of times as it's always sold out....dammit! It's so good. The meat falls off the bone easily and it's very juicy. The sauce has a little kick to it which makes it even better. Makes you drool, doesn't it?

I have to say that the decor here is probably one of the best among bubble tea shops. Very clean and nice...but seating is limited so takeout is recommended. It's professionally run here unlike many other bbt places. The staff here actually speak proper english. But more importantly they are very friendly especially the owners. They are very knowlegeable in their products (teas, bbt) as well. Service is fast and efficient.
I like their nice display of their teas with info on them...interesting to read. Many of their slushees have real fruit in them and is very fresh. I especially like the double-stacker slush(2 flavours). This place emphasizes on quality ingredients and it shows. Overall, I like it here.

Decent prices for decent food. The staff are very friendly and very lively with all of them welcoming you when you enter and thanking you when you leave. The waitress shouts out your order to the cooks. One thing is that this place is very loud....but in a good way. Food portions are tapas style so it's good that you get to enjoy many different dishes. Ebi mayo, chicken karaage, and oyster motoyaki, beef carpaccio, tuna tataki are all delicious.
Expect to wait awhile as it's very busy and seating is limited. If you're not willing to wait, try the other Guu locations...Thurlow, Gastown, Richmond.

As a business, this restaurant has a winning formula. Good food, huge portions, good service(beautiful waitresses), great selection of pastas, fair prices, and plenty of seating. I realize this isn't authentic Italian cuisine but it's pretty good for what you pay for and get. The huge lineups just about tells you how much people are willing to wait to dine here.
I've tried many of the pasta dishes here and I found them all very good. The complimentary bread(portugese buns) are very good. I also like the fact that the pop is bottomless. The artichoke salad is very tasty as well. I really have no complaints about this place other than the lineup but that's to be expected. Just go later(around 9:30pm) and you should be seated immediately. One thing is for sure is that you will be taking your dinner home in a take out container as it's almost impossible to finish. The portions at lunchtime are pretty big as well...and it's cheaper at around $9.95 each.
What I really don't get is why no other restaurant imitates this place....they'd make a killing.
