This place is consistently good for rolls. I've been going here for over 5 years probably 3 or 4 times a month, and while not everything is perfect all the time, it's better than most places in it's price range. Even when I get takeout everything is fresh, and when you eat in you can watch your food get made by the chef, so you know how fresh it is.
I love this place!! They do one thing and do it well - flawlessly in fact. The burritos are huge and delicious, and they are renovating to make the place bigger. The staff are cute and friendly. My favourite is the Jame-dog buritto, which has galicky potatoes in it. They can make anything vegan by subbing the cheese and sour cream and stuff out for delicious guacamole. I love it!!
I've been to Chambar 4 times now, and it is always flawless. Our most recent experience was for dine out, so of course it was packed, but our server (James?) was still attentive and helpful. My boyfriend is really into Belgian beer, and the server took the time to discuss their wide selection of beers with him, even though he was slammed. The server recommended beer pairing for my boyfriend's dinner, which was a perfect match. The food was excellent, as always. I had the ruby trout, which was the best trout I've ever eaten. It was perfectly prepared. It was really nice to see that even though it was dine out, the food and service was the same quality as always.
I recently dined at Caffe de Medici with my boyfriend for our anniversary, and I could not have been more impressed. We told the hostess it was a special occasion, and then our server, Alessandro, brought us some prosecco to celebrate. He was a great server - always there when we needed something, but was unobtrusive and very professional and friendly. The food was outstanding - there were tons of choices on the menu with a wide variety of meats, seafood, pastas, and a separate vegetarian menu. They also have a crazy huge wine list. I saw on one of the other reviews that they thought the wine was overpriced, but I dine out a lot and found the wine prices to be pretty standard. Obviously when you dine out, especially at a fine dining restaurant, wine is more expensive then at a liquor store. Anyway, the manager of the restaurant recommended wine to match our dinners, which was another lovely touch. Everything about our experience at Caffe de Medici was so fantastic, and I definitely want to dine there again ASAP!
