This place is my favorite Indian Restaurant in Vancouver
I used to come here as an SFU student but I venture up the mountain about once a month or two.
Their butter chicken is the best that I have had - slightly tangy and not sweet. And my vegetarian wife has a lot to choose from so she always happy to visit.
The value is pretty good for Vancouver standards most dishes are between $10-$12 dollars - and served with rice or naan bread.
The buffet is only at lunch so I don't get a chance to dig in like I used to but for dinner my favorites are the Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Spinach and Paneer cheese, garlic naans, and Ice Cream Himalayan mud pie. No complaints on service after about 30 trips and it is nice that their is a mix of regular staffers and SFU student types working.
The atmosphere is warm and nice and the patio at night is a good place to come for a quiet dinner (although it rains a lot at SFU even in the summer).
This is one of my must trys

This is my favorite Greek Place not only in Burnaby but all of the GVRD,
I have been in about 20 times over the years. The food has always been great - the best part, however, is that it is everything that a greek place should be - fun, run by a very friendly greek family, and the food is always good.
The atmosphere is exactly what you want with a maze of Mediterranean rooms and the occasional belly dancer.
The lamb, which most places screw up, has always been tender, the chicken sovlaki is fresh and juicy and in good portions, their Greek salad is great which has a little something unique in it which I can't ever place, and their spanakopita is fresh and flaky.
I take all my friends there and no complaints from anyone yet!

Came in for dinner a couple of times - the food is good - although their butter chicken tasted a bit off - not sure if it was the chicken or the sauce. However, I find the value pretty poor for what you get.
The service was good the first time I went and the second time the waiter screwed up our order and then i didn't see him until the end of the meal - After 8-10 minutes I gave up and was so hungry I ate whatever they put in front of me - luckily I am not a picky eater.
Items I have eaten: Naan, Rice, a lamb dish (which was unknown to me), Butter chicken, and a potato and cauliflower dish. Food I would rank as a solid which I would say on a scale of 1 to 10 is about a 7 - the only complaints besides the service the one time and the value is the lamb was tough.
- not bad for a try
