So, I've been wanting to try this place because I was a HUGE fan of the one on davie street.
It wasn't too far off from davie but this is what I noticed:
The sides were SUPER stingy- rice was maybe a half scoop, barely any.. and the beans were lame too.
And the salad, i LOOVEED the salad, but there was hardly and dressing on this salad and it was less appetizing... it was just a little bit lousy in comparison.
Although, the waiter did offer more chips and salsa which was great...
but... It was a bit disappointing.
I hope they read some of these reviews and up their game even just a little bit... Plus their prices are higher so you would think it would be a bit better.
so that's my review.
I don't know what's so terrible about this place, I love it.
Loved it, rather. It appears to have closed. :(
Does anyone know if the one on broadway is the same?
I really enjoyed their chicken chimichanga and my boyfriend loved the polo loco...
I LOVE the salad dressing they make in house, as well as the salsa.
I wanna try the one on broadway but wanna know if is indeed the same place.
We go and eat at J's down the street almost every second weekend. We love it.
They actually serve Morningstar Farms veggie bacon and sausage, so if you're vegetarian it's fantastic.
My boyfriend often orders J's Hash and Corned Beef hash and it's terrific.
I always order the veggie eggs benny with a side of veggie bacon or sausage and it's magnificent.
I've also tried the burgers and fish and chips and don't have a bad thing to say about it!
