This restaurant (across from Metrotown) opened not long ago.
The freshness of their sashimi and other ingredients is impressive.
Especially worth mentioning was their California roll..it's packed with fillings and not too much rice, and the crab cake inside is better than some of the best sushi places in Burnabay.
The restaurant itself is quite small, as it targets take-out orders, but it's definitely a great sushi place with very competitive prices. If you like Sushi Garden or Sushi House, you would love Yakko Sushi.

Today was my first time at this restaurant..went with my friend for lunch and i was totally and happily surprised by the excellent quality of food and service there.
We ordered their mushroom appetizer (called "funghi") to start and it blew us away right off the bat..the mushrooms were presented in a delicious, aromatic garlic soup with melted parmesan cheese and served with toasted foccasia bread. A must-try if you ask me. Especially if you like garlic and mushrooms.
The pastas were also excellent. I highly recommend the Carbonara, especially when u combine it with the soup leftover from the mushroom appetizer ;)
Although it's a small restaurant, it was cozy and welcoming..and the owner and his wife were very friendly. It's too bad it's located on Kingsway across from Safeway..if it were in Kits it would certainly be a huge hit~!
