Nathan's Grill6390 Darnley Street, Burnaby
defineatly worth the trip
Submitted Saturday, September 22, 2007 - 12:20pm [Dine in]

was in the area at a local event and checked out nathans grill for lunch, the place was packed! i was surprised so many people found their way to this little tucked away gem of a restaurant. there could have been an extra waitress or two as it looked to be too much for the two on shift to handle. I had bruchetta to start and my wife had the cheese bread, both were just superb. i followed up with the chicken alfredo(which was HUGE!) and my wife had the seafood club with this very interesting and unique soup. i think the chef called it wicked thai, WOW, i want that recipe(made me wish i had ordered something with soup!) overall the experience was great, the only room for improvement i can see would be more staff, the food took around 20min, and we were dining for about an hour in total, our server was excellent, yet stretched to thin amongst so many tables. well worth the venture. wish there was another location closer to town!

Wonderful evening view

You'll enjoy escaping from the casino for this lovely dining experience. The food is perfectly prepared and the wine selection is ample. Everything on the menu is wonderful, but try to save room for either Chocolate!! or the Trilogy....

In true Umberto tradition....

...you can expect nothing short of decadence in this Whistler restaurant. Lots of variety in terms of tapas and entrées. They have a vast wine selection and their servers are exceptionally knowledgeable about pairings. If you haven't been, you're missing out!

New York state of mind

I love this restaurant! The ambiance is reminiscent of a fine New York eatery - it is stylish without pretension. The food is delicious and presented impeccably. There is a variety of entrées to choose from, so you're sure to find something delectable. Umberto should be proud!

Thin crust lovers need only apply

This place is great if you love thin crust pizza. Lots of toppings and perfectly proportioned. Try their Amadeus Special - if you love pepperoni, this is the pizza for you. The atmosphere is OK, but we usually do take out. Enjoy!

A new twist on an old favourite

These guys have the market cornered when it comes to tasty wings. They have an excellent selection of creative sauces and a little bit something for everyone. Great price - and if you're looking for a good poutine, it's pretty damn good! I like the fact that they almost always give you one or two extra wings with your order. Great crew!

These are some of the best burgers I've had. Fresh ingredients, wonderful presentation and excellent accompaniments. When you've got a serious burger craving, this is the place to go.
