Ive been to Saturdays twice now first time i went with my mother for drinks the diet pepsi isnt pepsi its RC cola and its on tap so its not the best but the beer is good its on tap or in bottles. we sat down and a guy from the bar came over and took our order we said the place looks pretty dead whats up. well seeing as it was only 12 in the afternoon a pub wont be that busy. we had onion rings they were great, and cod bites and fries. the second time i went with my roommate at 5 it was pretty busy but the girl working the bar was slow and more into her phone and texting then people sitting at the bar. we got wings and mushroom caps and 2 cod and chips well the food was good but there was something a little strange about honey garlic wings they were tandoori wings just covered with honey garlic sauce. they weren't bad but why bother to put a mild wing on the menu if they are all hot. i enjoyed them but they had a funny taste because im not used to tandoori chicken all that well, the mushroom caps were good the fish was beer battered and good but the best part was the fries. my room mate called them crack fries they have this crunchy outside and are even good cold we took most of the food home you get a lot for little unless you buy the 2 cod and chips for $15. all in all we had a good time the football game was on the tv so it was a little loud and the girl at the bar must be forced to work there its a family run place and she seemed like she didnt want to be there at all. good place good food. nice time

Mhhmm Soup
Submitted Saturday, November 8, 2008 - 8:45pm [Dine in]

My family and i heard form some friends that this was a good place to get decent Chinese food.so tonight we went and had wanton soup, sweet and sour pork, steamed rice, chicken chop suey and deep fried wantons and egg rolls and almond chicken, from my point of view the best part of the meal was the soup. it was made from chicken not beef and the steamed rice was pretty good but very dry. everything els was full of oil, you could see through the egg rolls. the almond chicken had a good amount of chicken chunks but the coating around it was wet and there were no almonds on it. so if your looking for a good place for wanton soup its youer place.
