The baked potatoe was totally discusting! it wasnt cooked enough & it tasted like an old potatoe that had been sitting in my grammas moldy basement for too long! The salad was a joke! Iceberg lettuce with 1 slice of cucomber on the top! The "garlic" bread didnt have any garlic on it! so it was simply a buttered toast! The chicken was OK, but it didnt come with dipping sauce or anything, so eating a half chicken dry like that is not too exciting! So I through the whole thing away 5 minutes into it & had a bowl of cereal instead! 17$ + tax + tip straight in the garbage!

For having been to Mexico many times in my life, I can say that in general, typical mexican food could never be considered upscale but it's good, fun fast food every once in a while... In that sense La Casita is pretty Typical...
Cheezy run down decor, just like in any respectable real Mexican restaurent, it even smelled like mold a bit in our corner, again just like in real mexico! But I don't think this is done on purpose... They make their own Corn tortillas, which is great, but unfortunetly, they are way too thick, so it's more like eating bread... Their salsa is ok, but I have had much tastier & the rice & salad that accompanied my Quesadillas were pretty blend... I was also surprised that they didn't put any lime on the table... Any respectable Mexican restaurent puts lime on the table, as Mexicans put lime in everything!
Overall, I don't think I will go again, but since it's just around the corner from my house, I might go back one more time to give them another chance & try something else.
