Easy Place for a Drink or Two

Nice atmosphere
Nice highball special.
Friendly people.

Great music, with conversational volume levels.

If you had a date and wanted to talk to your date you could hear what they are saying. Also, the lighting here is soft and would make you look good.

Just a mellow spot, that gave me enough of a good feeling that I wanted to share.

ps. they are making me rate the food, but I was just a drinker here, hence the three.

Guilty Pleasure

I don't know if my mom (very thrifty lady) would be proud or afraid that I love to eat here.
Pretty good experience if you never go to the washroom, not to mention enter from parking lot up the back stairs. Abyssmally dirty and a bit funky with the chemical/??? smells.
That being said...
I eat here pretty regularly.
All about the cheapness, no delusions.

Best Sushi in Vancouver

I have never had a bad experience at Shiro.
It is the only place I have gone with fresh ground wasabi instead of paste.
Oh, the difference even that small change makes!
We went once and had the freshest halibut nigiri. One of my favorite food memories to date.
Get whatever is fresh/in season and enjoy with a big crisp beer.
