Awesome Place for Sushi
Submitted Friday, October 23, 2009 - 11:35am [Dine in]

I've got a friend who swears by this place and it was her turn to pick the restaurant, so yesterday we went here. I'm a bit of a sushi nut, so the two of us splurged a little and ordered several of their specialty rolls, which were alright.

What really got me, though, was the quality and size of their more ordinary rolls. A lot of the places I've been to specialize, doing really good specialty rolls while kind of ignoring the basics, but here their basic rolls were simply awesome.

They've also got a combination special offered on the front of their menu. I normally ignore those things as I find they're mostly an excuse for places to get rid of stuff they don't want or to move items that take them little time to prepare. I was pleasantly surprised when the sushi came quickly and was of the highest possible quality.

Exactly what I was looking for. So good that I'm going there again tomorrow.

Just Not Filling
Submitted Thursday, October 22, 2009 - 2:49pm [Dine in]

I don't know what it is about this place. My friends and I have been to it a few times now - it's got great atmosphere, good service; we really want to like this place but there's always been something off about it. I finally figured it out.

The portions are too small. The food they serve is generally quite good. We've had some spotty stuff here and there, but the servers are very good about fixing it. It's just that for the price you pay you expect to walk out, well, sated, and I've always left this place feeling hungry.

It's a shame, really, because the service and the decor really are amazing. The place looks top notch; if only their food was filling enough to match.

Really Good, Warm or Cold

I've been coming to this place for years; it's become somewhat of a networking site for both myself and pretty much everyone I know. We all go and lounge around, catching one another up while eating their delicious gelato and partaking of their amazing mochas. They also do a really good sandwich, which is nice, and their service and prices make this just the perfect place to sit back, unwind, and talk with old friends.
