One of the more decent shanghai places I've been to, the xiao Lon bao (sp) was very good and so was the pan-fried version with denser outer dough shell - crispy goodness on the outside and so juicy and meaty inside it was just heaven! We also tried some other dishes- spicy shredded pork, fried beans, braised pork - they were all pretty decent.
The food is pretty good value. Compared to fancy restaurants this is closer to family style cooking so mote comfort food ish but still relatively tasty at a decent price! Experience with service was good also! Patient and smiley waiters. They actually made a mistake on our order but later compensated us, it was pretty nice of them.
Only complaint is the first page of their menu - where all the appetizers are (so the vital options like the xiao Lon bao and the panfried pork bun I'd mentioned earlier)- was all Chinese but no English at all! My friends were lucky that I can read it and knew what to order. You can always ask the waiters though if you see something you like from another table's order - they will gladly tell you what it is. ^^

Sure, the food was decent. I had the pork hock combo and it was good. Other than that, I haven't tried anything else. But I wouldn't go back...to dine in, at least. There was only 3 tables and the service was beyind horrible. Worst part was they all had a long face like some tragedy has happened and you are the one to blame. My dog can serve better than them.
In short, even if the food is pretty good, I'd rather go somewhere else and get actual service.
