I walk by this place all the time and see it just PACKED. So i went there for lunch one day, and noticed when we were seated that everyone is basically sardined in the same general area. Honestly, the food wasn't spectacular, I could go next door to Asakusa and get the same quality and not have to wait 25 minutes to sit.
I just moved here and have been going to Asakusa for about two months. Usually I order the Sushi Combo 5 (3 nigiri and an alaska roll) and I've always been pretty satisfied with it. However, if I ever order the Dinner Combo's which have the teriyaki on sprouts and tempura vegetables, it is never good. The sprouts are always soggy, as is the tempura. Each time we've gone there, the quality of the Dinner Specials has gone downhill.
Good thing about this place is that the portions are a good size (nigiri is always a fair size/thickness) and I can get full off of $7 of food.
The waitresses are always very nice, but I think it has to do with whoever's cooking that day when it comes down to the quality of the food.
