I think this restaurant has lots of potential. As a first timer, I noticed that there were no signs leading to the door. On the side (2nd Ave) there is a door that leads up to some appartments upstairs and another door tinted black. Okay....let's try the front! A simple sign or arrows would've helped greatly.
Inside, lovely decor. Love the colour of the paint on the walls. Very refreshing, like the bamboo green.
Prices were decent.
Food was good.
Service was very disorganized. I mean, the staff were nice, but they seemed to be all over the place. For example, we had about 3 different people coming up to our table. Normally I would take that as being attentive, but they seemed so independant of each other - not knowing that we just ordered something with another waitress, or better yet getting our food mixed up with another table. They said they've been open for less than a year, but I assumed that would been enough time for proper training of the floor staff. Like I said, there is huge potential for this restaurant, but they better start paying attention to the quality of service.
