I have been to both of the Montana's. I normally go and eat in the bar - a little quieter than the restaurant and more fun. But it all depends who is the bartender and server. There have been times when we have waited 10 minutes before being served and the place was not busy. The food is normally very good - even when you show up at 10:30 at night and they close at 11 - have been a few times when the quality is just not there but the ribs are wonderful and always good and messy.

My husband and I went here for Valentine's Day dinner. The only disappointment was that we couldn't order off the regular menu, but the special menu was great. We were not rushed in the least, even though there were other seatings after us. The staff were there when you needed them and were away when you didn't need them. The food was awesome! The Pheasant melted in my mouth and the scallops and prawns my husband had were wonderful.

We had a long conversation with Herve about wines and his family winery in France. Was nice to see a Chef/Owner out and about talking with the guests in the restaurant.

We are going back to try the regular menu and to also try some of the "Family" wines.

What a place

It has been a while since I have been to a fun pub - but this place was great. First time here was St. Patrick's Day last year - and what a blast we had - the place was packed and rocking - the staff were busy as all get out - but never slow with the drinks or food or the odd dance! Was there a short while back - nicer slower pace - and it was still great. Food is really good pub food and the staff make it fun and enjoyable. The bartenders are a hoot - make me want to order more Guiness!
