Well, we've always had a great experience!

I don't know about these other folks commenting here, but lots of people seem to be enjoying themselves when we drop by.

We have been to the Cascade Room several times, including New Year's Eve, and we have always had a good experience. The service has been attentive, even though it has been extremely busy on all the nights we have gone. The food has also been fantastic: duck, braised meats, polenta fries, smoked tuna, especially excellent at the price it is offered!

We don't go for the drinks but have always enjoyed the nice selection of wines by the glass.

A warm, inviting place as far as we're concerned. We will certainly be returning again and we don't live near the restaurant but have to bicycle there!

This is a good, nice, and friendly bakery!

Well lots of people I hope know about this bakery. I like to bike by on my way home and pick up some of their lemon squares or large lemon tart.

Love that their stuff is not too sweet, although it does appear that there are lots of things to choose from.

Croissants are "real" as in buttery and flaky. The Irish Soda Bread is perfect and we once had a chocolate mousse cake which was extremely delicious and a huge hit at a dinner we took it too.

The owners and staff are super friendly, kind and considerate. Even though this is not in my neighbourhood I make a point of stopping when I can to support them. They are great!

Feels Like New York

This small restaurant is just getting better and better. Since the fire they have overhauled not just the interior but the whole basis of the restaurant. The food is great. The new Chef is fantastic and the prices for meals are incredible considering the quality of the food!

Wines are reasonably priced as well.

Live music each evening make it a very reasonable evening out and the musicians are quality performers.

As the evening goes along the energy gets higher and it definitely seems like an inspired New York neighbourhood bar. Apparently they are expanding in the space next door so I hope that it continues to feel like the intimate space it has become.
