Excellent, Authentic Mexican!
Submitted Saturday, December 16, 2006 - 5:28am [Dine in]

I have always gotten great, friendly and problematic service from the servers and staff. Food is Top Notch but I did wish the portions were a bit bigger. I'm such a glutton! Prices very reasonable, excellent menu selections and after trying a variety of dishes on different occasions, I would certainly recommend this place. Great food, great prices, authentic tasting meals yet not too greasy. Nicely decorated to create a comfortable mexican feel. I noted that there are no other Mexican restaraunts around that I am aware of. Highly recommended!

Not bad, but prices too high

I've been going here since it opened, and I have definatley noticed that the quality of the lunch buffet has slid downhill gradually. Used to be excellent but has been consistently watered down the past several months. You will notice better food if you order a la carte, delicious. You will also be paying more too! The prices are still high for what you get. Especially considering the small portions.

NOTE: You get larger portions for the same price if you get take out. I'd say that's the way to go. Check your entertainment guide to offset the cost if dining in and you will be sure to enjoy!

Great Food, So-So Service, Reasonable Prices

I've been to Pasta Polo a few times and I must say that the food is excellent! Another commenter said that the bread and salsa that they bring you isn't good but I like it when they bring free bread and dip as an appy included with your meals. Good Nibblin, or just don't fill up on bread if you aren't keen!

I find that this restaraunt can get VERY busy and I have felt rushed, which does take away from the enjoyment if you happen to go at a peak time, such as a weekend. Also as a result the service is a bit slow (servers) because it is so busy but they do a fair job considering. However, once you get your order in, they are fast in the kitchen so it won't take long after you order.

Large size portions and a vast menu. Don't just order spaghetti, try one of their delicious plates such as a "lemon asparagus" or "Prawn & Scallop Rose" pastas. Maybe bake it in a layer of mozzarella cheese!!!! Nice alcohol menu, a beer for 4 bucks, lots of wines, not bad! Or bottomless pop... overall a nice family restaraunt, also good for a couple alone, or a larger dinner party (B-days, etc).

Remember, can be busy, reservation recommended if larger group.

If you ask me the most important factor I want in a restaraunt is great quality of food at a reasonable price, and that's what I felt I got. I guess the secret's out and therefore the busyness!

Overall, a recommended establishment.
