We had heard from probably half a dozen people how great this place was, especailly for the Saturday night prime rib dinners. Being a fan of prime rib at the Keg, we decided to check this place out. We were VERY pleasantly surprised.
The food quality was excellent, especially the Yorkshire pudding. It was huge! Veggies were great, both the mashed potatos and grilled potatos were great and the meat was outstanding. Here's the deal though: compared to The Keg, this place is a steal! Food quality was way better. The beef was very flavorful, cooked to order and the whole plate just worked. Try $19 here vs. $28 at The Keg.
Don't know what the other items on menu are like, but I'm happy to go here for the prime rib dinners. There's two dining rooms: one is like an old diner with the square metal tables and decorations on the walls. The other dining room is more like a regular dining room--didn't eat in there so don't know specifics. There were tons of kids/families in the diner part when we were there at 6-7pm.
Service was good and server was very friendly. We'll definitely be going back for prime rib and maybe even try a few other items on the menu, all of which sounded good!

Tried this sushi place in mall in South Surrey near London Drugs. Were very pleasantly surprised at the quality, freshness, and attention to detail in preparation of dishes. We had several different specialty rolls and tempura, both of which were outstanding. Fresh, flavorful dishes. Service was very good. Very friendly staff that clearly take pride in their restaurant. We've been back several times since first visit and consistency is excellent. Haven't been so lucky with other sushi places so we're sticking with this one!
