I like the Pad Thai and the Chicken Basil. It keeps me coming back for more :)

Love the Mother and Daughter team, Song and Apple. Always cheerful and friendly.

The ambience is nice with its new age style chic look.

Clean establishment, classy and open concept. Hope you enjoy it as I do.

Seated fast, no wait time. Waitress was happy to serve you, topped up water/tea frequently, Mandarin speaking staff. No complaints for this part of the Fraser. Food was as expected from a dim sum place. Not a fancy place, but acceptable to meet family and friends for lunch. Clean washroom. Happy to have found the place, was recommended by friends. I will definately be back for more. It saves me the drive into Richmond/Vancouver. Plenty of parking, easily accessible to Nordel & 88th.

So I saw an internet advertisement announcing all you can eat buffet dinner $16. Great, I was sold and willing to make the trek from Surrey to Downtown on a Friday night. My friend and I were totally excited to try out the 29 dishes that they boasted.

We could not find the restaurant and drove up and down Beach Ave. trying to find the place just to find a sign hidden behind a pole, that pointed toward an dark alley, then another sign pointed to a underground parking garage. Free parking!!! yay!!! Off to a good start we thought.

We arrived at the restaurant, to our amazement we had a harbour view and could see Granville Island. the restaurant seemed modern and trendy.... many Thai Theme like decorations, it was clean, neat and tidy.

The hostess greeted us with their traditional Thai greeting, and seated us quickly. To my disappointment there was no buffet and the restaurant was not busy perhaps 5 other tables were full. I realized that you needed to order off the menu and when I looked over the menu and in small fine print, it stated that you could order 5 items at a time, 1.5hr seating time, 15% gratuity and tax would already be added to the bill etc. Add $3 for bottomless pop. The dishes they had were mediocre. Typical thai appies, 3 different type rice noodle dishes, 3 different curries and some stirfries so on.

When they meant 5 items they sure meant 5 items!! that mean ordering 1 skewer of chicken, 1 spring roll, 1 calamari ring, 1 chicken wing, 1 piece of deep fried tofu per person. Then when you are done you could order more. Which we did, we ordered our main courses the typical pad thai, fried rice and green curry etc. the food took forever but they were gracious enough to refill our pop and water fast.

When the food arrived they were greasy and very salty (my suspicion is that they want to get you thirsty to drink more pop and get full faster and also the wait time for the food). Everything tasted the same but with some different slight variation. The portions were small and they missed a few things we had ordered. They had at least 5 waitresses on staff and we were served by different waitresses every time we needed service.

When we wanted to order more food, the guy said he would come back, went to the mgr. pointed at us and then never came back. Another waitress came to take our order, but she was condescending and warned us that if we had already ordered we were not going to get any more food. Without asking for the bill they gave us the bill and was pretty much pushing us out the door... our total bill for two people was pretty much $50. For that much I would rather order off the menu and another place.

Alright, but not the best.

Right in my hood, so if you don't want to travel out and want something more local I would recommend. I went there twice. Ordered Souvalaki the first time. Nothing spectacular, size was decent. Second time I went and ordered the seafood platter for two. Size was good and fed 3 people nicely without leftovers. A bit disappointed that the seafood was mostly deep fried, potatoes are bland (it wasn't bland tasting the first time I went) but the fish was nice.

Personally I would travel a little out and go to the Greek Village on Scott Rd. But if rushed for time and convenience this is the place to go.

BAD BAD Service

Went there on a Friday Night, place was full. Waited 1.5 hours and our food never came, the table next to us never received their order and they got up and left. A couple that arrived after us (we were a party of 3) got served before us!

We complained that we didn't even get our appetizer to 3 different waiters that went by. After an hour we got the appetizer. Waited for another 1/2 hour our meal didn't arrive so we got up and left. The waiter was argumentative, rude and they were very disorganized. Definitely not recommend this place, too bad b/c it's in my neighborhood and now I got to travel out for decent Greek food.
