The atomoshere is very relaxed country like. Almost like a diner. The food is very reasonably priced. Not the best tasting to my standards but it is a good place to take elderly parents to. Not very noisey inside. The food tastes lke it was precooked and just heated up.The portion sizes are very reasonably priced. If you like simple cooking this is the place to go to. The only thing they need is to serve some comfort food like stew and it will be perfect.

The last time I was at this restaurant was over 2 years ago. I came back to find the place all renovated with gigantic price increases. I did not mind that the price was increased but I did mind that the food was not as delicious as it once was. At one point I remember the restaurant having on of the best pastas and sandwiches in town with lots of other origianl dishes, but when I went back the last time it was so generic, like earl's and moxies. They had the burgars, chicken and all the usual nothing to make your mouth water and want more. I had the chicken. As mentioned the portion was good a but it was very dry. After a few bites I lost my interest in the food completly. The food also had to much sodium in it. I tried my friends dish and it was also the same. We ended up packing our food for take-out. The only good part was the spacious table with comfy chairs.

Thai House Restaurant1766 W 7th Avenue, Vancouver
something exotic

As you already know the summer here has been quite miserable. I was looking for a restaurant that will brighten up my summer. I stumbled upon the Thai House in Kits. From the outside I did not know what to expect but as soon as I walked in I knew it was very welcoming and warm. I was not very familar with thai cuisine, the waitress was kind enough to recomment and describe some dishes that would suite my taste. The food was delicious. I never had a soup with so many flavors that complimented each other. I like how creative the cooks get with all exoctic fresh ingredients. The flavor is an Asian Fusion Quisine. The dishes are really original with a very moderm touch. The portions are quite reasonable with a very sheek presentation. The best part about my meal was the dessert. The deep fried bananas are to die for, it practically melted in my mouth. I will definitly be back for more.
