Su Yok crispy skin that is crunchy and meat that melts in your mouth
Submitted Thursday, January 12, 2012 - 2:39pm [Take-out]

My parents told me about this BBQ place near Superstore in Richmond. I heard the hype but I had to see it for myself. I ordered 1 lb of roast pork (su yok), 1 lb of cha siu (bbq pork) and 1 whole bbq duck. The crispy skin on the suyok was excellent. The meat just melts in your mouth. Yummy! The cha siu's sauce was not overly sweet and the meat is tender. The bbq duck.. I have tasted better but it is worth a praise.

Price is a bit higher than some BBQ places you'd find in Chinatown, T&T or any locations near the 41st and Fraser Street and Victoria Drive area. But considering location and rental of places, its not bad.

I will eventually try their party platter for $52. I will comment soon.
