The Tsolias Taverna is a nice little Greek restaurant located on Vancouver's East side.
I go to this restaurant at least once every month or two.
There are two dishes I highly recommend.
1. The Kota Skaras (Flat, grilled chicken) and
2. The Arni Psito (Roasted, marinated lamb).
First, the Kota Skaras is an amazing grilled chicken dish that is tender and flavourful. One of my
favourite dishes, no doubt.
My second favourite dish is the Arni Psito. This roast lamb is incredible. The meat literally slides
off the bone. Very tender and tasty.
Both dishes are accompanied by pilaf rice, Greek Salad, roasted potatoes, roasted yams and the round bread with Tzatziki sauce.
Always go at lunch time because the prices are much more affordable.
You will not be disappointed and your stomach will thank you.

This quaint little restaurant makes the best subs in town.
I always order the meatball sub and chicken sub with peppers
that add a special, flavourful kick. The bread they use is crisp, light
and quite amazing.
The prices for these subs can't be beat. Definitely worth every
When I order take out, sometimes there is a
short wait in preparing the subs due to its popularity and this
restaurant is always busy with customers lining up outside!!!
I recommend this restaurant to all who want great, affordable take out subs.
