I've been to Timbre a number of times. It seems most of the restaurants in Vancouver these days are cookie cutter versions of another. Timbre is refreshingly original and has some serious soul. Country music quite often, great food, live bluegrass, and down to earth yet attentive staff. I love this place, and go significantly out of my way to attend. Best rye, coke, cup, ice in the city!
