Taco Luis5300 No. 3 Road, #1040, Richmond
Best Mexican Fast Food Ever!
Submitted Saturday, December 4, 2010 - 8:48pm [Dine in]

This taco place is located in Lansdowne Mall in Richmond. The owner is a very nice guy and always talks to you. He always remembers you no matter how long you don't come for. Food: HIs burritos are huge and he makes real beef and you can choose from an array of toppings like lettuce, tomatoes and even carrots and cucumbers. Sour cream and guac can be added for FREE! The taste is out of this world. Super fresh and not bland tasting like Taco Bell. Filling. Service: Awesome. The owner is so friendly and comments on your style of ordering. He gave me extra beef for free because I get little veggies. Taquitos are the best as they are handmade and fried and crispy. Their salsa is a must. Value: Amazing. A huge burrito, tatertots and a large drink is under 8 bucks. This is the only good place in Lansdowne and Taco Bell is piss poor compared to this gem. Highly recommended.

Best BBQ in Richmond...
Submitted Saturday, December 4, 2010 - 8:27pm [Dine in]

Good Ah Grill is located in Richmond Centre. It is a place that sells grilled pork and chicken with rice as well as grilled beef sandwiches. Food: 4 pork skewers on rice with a side salad with ranch dressing. The food here is to die for. The pork is a fresh, not frozen skewer grilled with this tasty asian BBQ sauce served on very tasty sticky rice. Salad is included with this meal but it's just lettuce and a slice of tomato. I recommend using the ranch sauce to pour onto the meat and rice. Heavenly I tells ya. Service: Friendly workers and quick too. Value: Amazing. Only 6.99 plus tax for this meal. Worth it. Ambience: It's in a food court. I recommend this place everytime you're in Richmond. It be a piss poor idea to eat anywhere else in this mall unless you want nuked meat.

Good Ice Cream...
Submitted Saturday, December 4, 2010 - 12:49am [Dine in]

Dairy Queen is close to my house and it is a nice place to satisfy a sweet tooth or even their hot food or both. Food: Chicken strips are hot, plump and is real chicken breast. Very tasty with gravy or BBQ sauce. Blizzards are always well prepared and delicious. Value: Piss poor. 5.50 for a large blizzard is exorbitant. Hot food costs similar to Wendy's. Can't go often. Service: Pretty piss poor honestly. Food always takes forever even when it is as empty as an abandoned house. Ambience: Very plain with plain tables everywhere. Good to come here for dessert but only if Marble Slab ain't nearby I tells ya.

Tasty but piss poor prices...
Submitted Friday, December 3, 2010 - 11:24pm [Take-out]

I have been to Fatburger 3 times and all were the same experiences. Food: Triple King with cheese, bacon and lettuce, mayo, ketchup, and pickles. Very big and fresh tasting. Fries were good but was skimpier than a McDonald's medium fries. What the fudge! Service: Pretty piss poor. Workers are disinterested in their jobs and one girl made me look like a dummy because I had asked for Fat Fries and it was discontinued? and she had the NERVE to say that I need to do my research. Psssh I know more about food than her nuked meatball brain. She wasn't even new and worked there when Fat Fries was around. Value: Extremely pissing poor. 19.50 for this meal and they charge for EVERY topping. Even lettuce. I recommend Five Guys over this rip off I tells ya.

This location is right by my older brothers' place where him and I go to get food when I come over to spend a few nights. Here is a quick rundown of what it's like. Food: Same tasty food as any other location but skimp on condiments sometimes. Value: Good like any other location. Service: Oh dear! This location takes the meat for piss poor service by far. Workers are more incompetent than a plate of nuked meatballs. Orders are better taken and understood by a deaf cow. I got yelled at literally because the biotch made me pay 1.00 for something I thought she already charged me for and SHOULD have rung up. This location needs to be run by people, not incompetent sacks of crud. I only go back because it's the nearest McDonald's for my bro and I to eat at. WORST LOCATION I TELLS YA!!!

Hot n' Fresh Burgers...
Submitted Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 11:22pm [Take-out]

This A n' W is located in the food court of Semiahmoo Mall. I like coming here for a quick, tasty burger when I don't want McDonald's. Food: Any of their burger offerings are very delicious and always hot n' fresh. Same goes for their fairly tasty fries. Value: Piss poor I'm afraid with their high prices and shrinking burgers but doesn't stop me from eating here. Service: Quick but the workers aren't the best English speakers but are good enough. A good choice in the mall.

Best Nachos in Vancouver!
Submitted Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 10:40pm [Dine in]

I come to OJ's with a friend when we want to see a game. I am in love with a specific item here. Food: Full order of Red Tractor nachos with chicken with guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. Service: Good. You can seat yourself whereever you like and servers are attentive. Value: A very cheesy and huge nachos with chicken and guacamole will run you 25 bucks. Very piss poor price but always worth eating all alone once in a while. Recommended.

Stepho's Greek Taverna1124 Davie St, Vancouver
Best Greek in Vancouver!
Submitted Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 10:19pm [Dine in]

I love Greek food. I rarely get to come here but when I do, it is simply amazing. I usually have to stick to the tasty but piss poor portions and prices of Opa's. Food: Large Chicken Souvlaki. Big portions and you get 2 skewers and rice with the best tzatziki ever. Service: Pretty quick. Value: Very good. 12 bucks for a big portion that other restaurants don't even give half of and charge way more. Ambience: Pretty small and dark but feels like you're in Greece. Worth the trip to Vancouver. Try it.

I'm a legend here...
Submitted Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 10:07pm [Take-out]

Subway is great when I want a big, unhealthy sub. I have been going to this location since 2004 and all the staff that have come and gone have known me til this day. Food: Any footlong sub on italian herbs and cheese bread, always with dbl meat and my famous 5 times extra cheese and get lots of sauce and sometimes bacon. Service: Excellent. Owner loves getting my business and the workers treat me like friends. Value: Piss poor but I don't care at all. Ambience: Looks like the old Subways but currently closed to get a major renovation. Recommended.

Ricky's All Day Crap and False Advertising...
Submitted Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 9:26pm [Dine in]

Couple of months ago, my dad saw an ad for a 10 dollar steak sandwich in The Province newspaper which looked great in the picture. My parents and I decided to check it out for dinner since none of us have been before. What a bad move! Food: I ordered a big breakfast that had a lot of food but all it was was bland eggs and lunch meat with boring boiled then fried potatoes. My mom had the worst souvlaki on Earth. It wasn't even Greek. It was just dark, seasoningless, boiled chicken thigh meat with botched rice and steamed broccoli. NO Greek salad. Whoever put this on the menu needs to be smacked by the Greeks. My dad's sandwich looked nothing like the ad and was a small steak on a half bun with a bit of fries. Nothing else. Service: Was barely around and had the nerve to cut me off twice to talk to a coworker in the middle of me ordering. Biotch. Value: Piss poor indeed. My breakfast was 14 bucks. My mom's unGreek souvlaki was 11 bucks and my dad's sandwich was 10 bucks. WRONG!!!!! It was 16.99! Never again!

Tastiest Pizzas...
Submitted Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 9:01pm [Take-out]

This location is a take out place only. I love to occasionally step away from the usual burgers and get a nice big pizza. Food: Large pepperoni that is usually fresh but at times overdone. Breadsticks with cheese and a pepperoni pzone. Never disappoints. Value: Expensive so I can't abuse it like McDonald's. Service: Average. Some are friendly, some don't like being there. All in all a great pizza chain.

Pretty good...
Submitted Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 8:51pm [Take-out]

Tim Horton's is a place to hit up for a tasty sandwich or donuts and iced capps for dessert. Perfect location near my house. Food: A large turkey bacon club with no tomato with their addictive honey mustard sauce, donuts, and a large iced capp. Very good. Value: Not cheap but a change from burgers once in a while. Service: Bad. They are so monotone and not all that friendly and rarely smile. Overall, a good place to buy some goodies. Recommended.

McDonald's is my life...
Submitted Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 8:40pm [Dine in]

I love McDonald's and have all my life. I have been eating it almost daily for a decade and alot before that too. This location is right by my house so it is my 2nd home. Food: Addictive! Nothing beats a greasy Big Mac and large fries. Value: Cheap even though prices keep rising. Service: I'm so known here by most of the employees so I get great service. However, some can be dumb. My biggest annoyance is when I ask for a meal supersized, some say "Would you like the meal?" Well obviously. Ambience: Typical McDonald's.

Five Guys Burgers & Fries2285 160th Street, Unit F8, Surrey
Best Burgers Ever!
Submitted Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 2:21am [Dine in]

Five Guys is live heaven coming into South Surrey. I first had Five Guys at their Park Royal location and have been
hooked ever since.

Food: Double Bacon Cheeseburger with some toppings and a large fries and a regular drink. Soooo gooooooood!!!

Value: Expensive at 15 bucks but worth it. Burger was big and juicy. The fries are ginormous and they give u almost a 2nd full cup extra in the bag. I ate it all but for others this could be shared with a few people.

Ambience: it is red and white with bags of potatoes, containers of oil, and boxes of peanuts which are available to munch on while you wait.

Service: Friendly workers and smile.

If you want a good burger, forget Red Robin or Fat Burger. Go to Five Guys!

Awesome Ice Cream!
Submitted Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 2:10am [Dine in]

This is by far the best ice cream place ever! I like to come here and get a big, sweet delicious ice cream. Perfect after a nice meal at Five Guys next door.

Food: a large coffee ice cream scoop on a chocolate and oreo covered waffle cone with snickers, M and M's and Twix mixed in. Yummmm!

Value: Absolutely terrible at 10 bucks!!!! But it is huge and the taste makes it worth it every penny! Not something to buy often though.

Servive: Not great. The workers seem confused everytime you ask them a question but they are nice enough.

Ambience: The place is small with a few places to sit. Very bright inside and the place is too white without much colour.

Recommended. Dairy Queen has nothing on these guys and I love Blizzards even.

73 dollars for rice???!!!!
Submitted Thursday, December 2, 2010 - 1:48am [Delivery]

My sister and I got invited over to her ex boyfriend's house so he could treat us to dinner. He wanted Chinese from this place and he has done so many times and said it was good. I wanted pizza but we all just agreed to eat Chinese food.

Food: I ordered 3 different combos at about 9 bucks each and they both ordered 2 combos each at 9 bucks as well.
When the food arrived, I got 3 big take out containers and to my surprise there was tons of rice in each one and barely any sweet and sour pork. The same went for my sister's and her ex's food. Deep fried prawns and 3 egg rolls came with our food as well and it tasted boring and of grease. There was literally 3 lbs of rice in one of my containers. What was this? The Ultimate Rice Combo? Not impressed!

Value: 73 dollars for our rice filled feast. What the fudge is that all about? We got ripped off for sure.

Ambience: We got delivery so I don't know.

I aint ordering from this place no more and neither should you unless you want pounds of rice for an exorbitant amount of money. I suggest you go to Safeway for Chinese food. Not recommended.
