I love this restaurant, not only for its varied homestyle menu - Japanese winter food, beer on tap, reasonable prices and locality, but also for the intimate 'tucked away' atmosphere.
Not great sushi, but the plentiful menu of exotic dishes hand written and dotted around the walls more than make up for it. Great place to try something different.

It came as some surprise, that a place serving such bad Italian food, should not have already been forced to close by the Italian consulate for crimes against cuisine. It truly was awful; like someone had opened a tin of chopped tomatoes and poured it over a plate of overcooked buy-low pasta. Italian food in Vancouver is generally average, but you would have to be the owner of a monster truck & air-brushed Wolf t-shirt to find Cipriano's food a treat for the senses. Paying the bill was very depressing.
