The food at the Campfire Grill will keep you coming back for more. Mouthwateringly good! I can't say enough about it. I wish I could eat there everyday, but then I'd be huge.
In the winter it's freezing in their little eat in place, but I'll put up with that for the food. In the summer the place is spectacular.
You MUST try the Campfire Grill!
The wine is good, the quality of the food is excellent, sometimes the portions are a little small. Best to go with a friend and share a few dishes. I like their downtown location as well, it's more intimate and has the BEST hot dog (it's about a foot long).
Go to the Burrow before or after a movie for a nice snack and great ambiance.
The food is always good. I especially love their Tuna Melts which are the most unique and flavourful Tuna Melts I have ever had. If this place was in the middle of town I would probably go there more often. I have never had a bad meal here. Atmosphere is casual and it's great for families.
Don't let the name fool you, this is not a Mexican Restuarant, it has Mexican items on the menu, however it's specialty is Steaks, Seafood and believe it or not Butter Chicken. I have eaten here probably over 200 times and never been disappointed. I have tried almost every item on the menu and have a few tried and true favourites:
Butter Chicken
Chicken Schnitzel
Any of their steaks
Beef Fahita's
Halibut yummy!
They do cater to families but if you are on a budget, then go here on a special occasion. It is not over priced by any means because the quality of the food is exceptional. Nothing processed here. The service is always top notch and I especially enjoy sitting at the bar chatting with the owner over a glass of fabulous wine.
EAT HERE!.
I love Indian food and often go to Vancouver to have my fix, I was glad to see a local restaurant open again after many years of not having one in Squamish. However, I have had take out here twice and both times was disappointed, not just in the quality, but the quantity was small. I found the butter chicken far better at Pepe and Gringo's next door. If you are looking for something other than Butter Chicken or Vindaloo, then try Essence of India, otherwise you'd be happier with Pepe's Indian dishes.
