Just recently it was bought and taken over by a new owner who has given me hope that the good ole days are just around the corner.
A new bar menu featuring classic bar food and an inspired serving staff have given this pub a whole new sense of life. Daily drink and food specials. Great for major sporting events especially UFC events with door prizes and raffles.
It has a whole new atmosphere with many upcoming changes. I recommend you give it a try, at least once in your life time.
I love well made east indian food. This place is the place to go when visiting old langley.
The appy platter had a little of everything the mint sauce is good on its own.
I tried the josh rogan, tender lamb pieces in a wicked sauce with basmati rice and some garlic naan. I was one happy camper. Tried their special house beer Cobra, very tasty and minimal fizz. And to finish the meal off a mango lassi shake which is perfect after some spicey lamb.
Highly recommend visiting, try the cobra .... tasty beer.
This place has the feel that the person cooking the food actually cares about the food they prepare. Everything tastes fresh and seasoned just right. The aztec soup or tortilla soup is excellent, just the right amount of kick. The pico de gallo is fresh made in house which just adds to the authenticity of this place.
The enchiladas are excellent especially with the green salsa, good all round. Its a family owned establishment with plenty of love put into what they do.
I highly recommend you pay this place a visit.
