I've been going to Delaney's for over a decade and the West End location in particular for at least 8 years. Their coffee is consistent and I love they get their beans from local roaster JJ Bean.
There have been so many staff changes over the years I've lost track, even though many of them were wonderful people and made my Delaney's experience that much better. Bertram is a rock. I can't say enough good things about him and how he manages the location. As for the "hawk", he's great. He doesn't try to blow sunshine where it doesn't belong yet he brings an important and unique level of service and character to the business. My girlfriend and I appreciate his attitude and hospitality (AND the "mo"!).

I was at La Casita for the first time last Friday. It was excellent! Service was friendly, courteous and prompt. Although, this seems like the kind of restaurant where you shouldn't be afraid to wave some help down if you need it ;)
The unblended margaritas were very good and decently priced. The homemade tortillas were amazing and the salsa was a fresh change. My entree was available in; small, medium & large. I had the large and got what I deserved, suitably stuffed!
We had the free chips'n'salsa, 3 margs and 2 large entrees for $56, tip and tax included.
The apparent authenticity of most the dishes in addition to the creative way the windows were dressed to transport you from the neighborhood you're in to another place entirely were very pleasing! Oh, and we both liked the music, festive but not in-your-face!
We will definitely go back and have already recommended LA CASITA to numerous friends!
