(3) (3) (3) (3) (3)This restaurant is amazing value. The advertised $5.95 18 piece Maki combo + Miso soup is incredible. Great quality fish and always fresh. One of the few restaurants at this price point that are this accommodating - I never like Tempura so I swap out the Tempura roll for salmon roll, no questions or extra charges or anything!
I just wrote a review for Irashai Grill downtown and vouched to never go back to that other place. Stopped by Sun Sushi right after to get the Irashai taste out and to fill me up. Sun sushi is < 1/5th the price and infinitely better value and service.
Never returning to this restaurant. The rolls are extremely expensive for what you get, and you really don't get that much. The only decent roll was the Soft Shell Crab. The server recommended us the 'special' fish and the portions were tiny! Not enough even for 1 person, and doubled our bill! Server's attitude was not that great. Only 1 server for the entire restaurant! (plus the manager).
