Like I died and went to vegan nacho heaven!

I have been here about a handful of times and have always thoroughly enjoyed myself. Service can be hit or miss, last time we were there service was kinda sub-par but the time before our server was friendly and efficient and even laughed at our terrible inside jokes. Last time we were here was with a group of 9 for mine and my friend's birthdays and everyone had a different item off the menu and even though there were only 3 of us who are vegetarian no one complained about not having any meat. We all shared nachos, vegan and nonvegan, with a side of guacamole which is definitely a must! Their burritos are good sized and delicious and those that had the enchiladas said the same thing. My nephew had a brownie for dessert and his only complaint was that it wasn't big enough. I find the price for their food very reasonable, if you're drinking margaritas your bill might stack up a bit but as a poor student I can easily be sated and not feel it in my wallet. I personally love the decor and ambiance as it feels very relaxed and homey, but I know not everyone would share my affinitiy for loud music and bikes on the wall. The place is on the smaller side so chances are you will probably have to wait for a table, but even if you get a disinterested waitress who forgets your beer, the food will be worth the wait!

Will not go out of my way to come back.

My dad took a group of us here last December when he was in town for a belated birthday dinner for me. Arrived around 7pm with reservations and were seated promptly, I had to use the bathroom after the walk from the skytrain so I disappeared before I had a chance to order my drink while everyone else was. Came back and the server was setting down everybody's drink, looked at me and as I was about to order walked away! She then busied herself re-arranging cutlery at the table beside us almost like she was punishing me for not being ready when everyone else ordered. Finally she came back for my drink and we ordered appetizers. After a couple rounds of drinks and appetizers our server came back to tell us we had to leave as the hostess should have told us we could only stay for an hour. We said we were planning on ordering dinner still and she told us we could move to a different table if we wanted, which seemed strange as it was NOT busy and the party that came in was no bigger than ours and could have easily taken the open table we were moved to. I ordered some sort of tofu and eggplant stirfry and they completely left out the tofu! A different server ended up bringing it to me in a bowl, and everyone agreed that the food was pretty decent but the service was absolutely terrible. And my brother ended up not being able to finish his meal as the server shot a canon full of confetti all over the birthday table next to us and it got all over his food and in our drinks.... Overall not impressed, we ended up feeling so rushed and neglected that we left to carry on our evening elsewhere when we could have easily spent a lot more time and money there.
