Not bad

The food here is pretty good. Just had a plain old burger. Thats all I wanted. Came with shoe string fries. Good drinks. Zesty Cuban flair.

As for the smokers lounge right in the front. Well lets just say, If you dont abuse your body you get to sit in the back. Too bad huh.

Ambiance is ok. I mean its set up as old school Havana. So thats been accomplished. They also have an art gallery / dance theatre in the back. Nice!.

As for the service. Typical Vancouver service. Dont hold your breath.

Overall, c'mon in and dont be shy. You'll have a good meal.

Awsome deal

I really have to say that the memphis platter $30 is an excellent deal. Or if your not into eating a whole left side of a farm, order off the menu. They have a wide variety of dishes. Spicy to reg. The cornbread is delicious. Moist not dry. Which is a plus for me. Now for the service. The food was quick enough so my guests and I had no probs. The memphis platter can't be finished. There were four of us and we took home a big portion of it. Im not a pretty little super model either. So I really did eat. Excellent deal.

Ok first of all, This experience was some time ago, so maybe it would be better now. The food was terrible. Everything had cumin in it. Alot too. It was like the chef had just discovered it and thought it was some sort of miracle spice. Now the waitress, first of all if she was ever there. Second, there was this cup of coffee that appeared inocently enough. So I asked her very politely to remove the charge. She took the bill and brought it back. The coffee was still there. This happened again 3 times. Everytime I gave her back the bill she got even snottier. Why did she never check the bill before bringing it back. What was the problem with me asking her to take off this item we never ordered. This waitress was really nasty. Now she had dissapeared, I sure hope out of embarrassment. I told her co-waitress she was a total bitch and I would like the correct bill, and to leave. My waitress came back and told me that it was a bad idea to call her a bitch. I said why are you going to give us even worse service and over charge us more, with even worse attitude. Dont ever go here unless you want horrible food and even worse, abbusive service. If you are the owner of this establishment, stop hiring your friends / neighbors / and or waifs to staff your restaurant. Hire reputable peolpe whom will bring back business.

I really have to say, This place uses top notch ingredients. They have a huge menu. If your a vegetarian, this place is awsome too. No MSG, and a ton of flavour. I always get the same thing, arent I a bore. So kill me for knowing what I like. Ill tell you one thing I order evertime, its the hot and sour soup. So delicious!!!!!. A little spicy and really thick. Full of al dente, julienned vegis, large shrimps, and a thicker broth. leave your english at home. Just point to the menu, wait, and then enjoy.
