bad attitude leads to poor quality and terrible service

I recently visited on of Vancouver's best coffee shops and was so disappointed that I left. They grey haired barrista was very rude when I offended him by asking if he could remake an American coffee for me. He accused me of cooling it down with my milk/cream and refused to try again. But of course it wasn't his fault, he is the barrista.
I thank him for his trouble and crossed the street to Bean Bros. where I snuggled into a seat and enjoyed a steamy Americano topped up with milk.
