What is expected from fine dining
Submitted Wednesday, September 3, 2008 - 4:40pm [Dine in]

Very good service, very good food. Very good entrees and main dished lamb and halibut where very good, let's not forget the dessert with a nice twist. We enjoyed our experience and will return. Everything you expect from fine dining. Hope you have the chance to try and open your mind and taste buds to something different.

A little over rated
Submitted Wednesday, August 20, 2008 - 5:50pm [Dine in]

Third time, the first I had the salmon, a little disappoited with the quantity of salmon on the pizza, it was a very little ball in the middle, second time I had the caveman - really enjoyed that - very good, and last week we tried a the red and black, it was OK, both overcooked with cheese almost black, maybe that's why they call it black. I'm finding the ratings a little to high here, incredible and outstanding no, not quite there yet, but they very good.

Not sure what happened here

After being many times, the last 2 was bad service and very average food, not sure if they changed their chef, what use to be the thin crust pizza is starting to look like and old full crust pizza and the appetizers very average. Very disappointed that the place is changing. Thank goodness they had one good server she was able to recover because the other one just totally forgot about us. Maybe we just had 2 bad experiences.

Simple, delicious, local, fresh, with accommodating service and for a little more money then 2 pizza's and a bottle of wine, this was well worth it. Not sure why it took us to long to try this restaurant. It's already been recommended to friends. The food can be described with the 4 words above but 300 characters are needed.

It was good
Submitted Monday, March 31, 2008 - 10:33am [Dine in]

From the reviews, I was expecting a little more. I asked the young girl serving us to serve me their WOW dish. It was good. My husband meal was also good. Will we go again, I don't think so. It is certainly a good restaurant for the hotel and worth trying once, as it may appeal to you more than it did to us.

Great pizza!

Finally a thin crust pizza with great variety that you can order from home. We've ordered from them a few times already. You should give it a try. From BBQ chicken to sundried tomatoes, so far all good.

3 star is a solid review

Solid is a good. Ambiance, hip, busy, we had good service. If you are looking to please your taste buds this is the place. Loved the menu concept, it's different and different works. Music is a little to loud and if you are sitting on that long table with a loud neighbour, it's hard to concentrate on your on party, but that's my problem. Certainly a fun experience worth trying. I recommend it for something a little out of the ordinary and try the long green beans.

After eating there for 3 years/every 4 weeks
Submitted Monday, November 12, 2007 - 8:39pm [Dine in]

We are now getting very disappointed. We eat or have been picking up food for 3 years and craving it, but the last 4 times, the food has been changing, it's no longer consistant and the staff keeps on changing. We must find ourselfves a new indian restaurant.

Very good food and friendly professional service. Starting to get worried that good food and friendly service was no longer available in these price range. Very pleased with the experience and we certainly will return. The service was great, we had a nice witty fellow serving us, he was able to deal with my father in laws silly comments and food requirements. THUMBS UP just for that.

Solid 3*, I was expecting more. They are trying hard for the 4*. Something oldfashion about the place and the service was good but flat and boring. The Sommelier got thumbs up. Not sure we will be returning. So many places to try.

Enjoyed the 8 meal tasting menu with wine pairing. Service excellent, 2 out of 8 tastings incredible and the rest very good, the wine pairing excellent, the service excellent, the attention to detail its all there, we were expecting an a la carte menu, having only the choice of 3 tasting menus we decided to go all out since we were here. Would love to it again but I'm embarrased to say how much it cost for 2 and we would never pay that again. We were told that the a la carte is on the bar side, we may try that if we go back or try feenies.

We have not seens the renovations but looking at the menu it's exactly the same as it was 4 years ago. I've tried 3 different main course but none I crave for. We enjoyed our first experience, something did bring us back and it was probably the simple and quiet decor. But I've seen the server (I think she is part owner) making eyes to her collegue when a little request was made at our table by a person of a certain age. I found that extremely unprofessional and the service is unconsistant. It is difficult to get good help these days!

Not sure what to expect, walked by many times in the past but the noise level seemed to keep me away, and eventually the curiousity took over. A nice refreshing twist to the food - looking forward to our next visit but just wish it would not be so loud. Good service but yes loud that even sitting at the bar on a Sunday at 6:00pm we had to speak up quite bit.

We've been 2 or 3 times with excellent service from James. The food was very good (a little pricy) and one review said it's a little loud and I must agree. But I guess it all depends on what kind of customers you are trying to attrack.

Good ambiance, good service, great food and good prices. It's what everyone is looking for in a good restaurant. We had the mussels, Lamb, Duck and it was all great. Two thumbs up. Can't wait to go again. I've recommended it and with a positive feed back. Put this one on your list of restaurant to try. If it's consistent this is a winner.

Our first visit was "wow" and the food was great and so was the service which makes the experience event more enjoying. The second time around, we had good service, but not quite the same experience we had the first time, which made the food taste not as good. We did not feel like we got our money's worth the second time around. Will we give it another chance???

Seems like it's a secret for many. I've walked in many times and the place is packed. Looks like a family business, great home cooking, the Korma, vegetale balls, naan bread, everything we've had was good, we crave it at least one a month, eat there or take it home. The best thing to expect is Great Food, value and it's consistent. It's worth trying.

Nice decor, solid service, food was good, what was impressive was the wine list. They have special wine tasting nights which seem very interesting. Our first time tonight. I love to cook, I can duplicate the same meal at home which was a disappointment. When I go out I want to be wow'd with something I can't repeat at home or leave me wondering how do they do it or wanting more and this did not happen even if it was an overall good experience we may go back for the wine tasting events.
