We had the 4-course fixed price menu consisting of a small appetizer, soup or choice of salads, choice of three or four entres and a desert all for $17.99 mid-week.
Nice ambiance and very pleaseant staff.
I can recommend this central Victoria restaurant.
A first glance through the front window of this restaurant will only show you a small front room with three or four tables. The first time my wife and I visited we sat there and wondered how a restaurant could survive on this, apparently just after the restaurant had been taken over by a young couple from Turkey. We had no trouble choosing a lovely meal from a somewhat limitrd fixed price menu. The service was very friendly and efficient.
When six of us wanted to return recently we decided to make a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be shown upstairs to a larger room with tables nicely spread out. Again a very nicely prepared meal for everyone. The menu had changed, with an emphasis on lamb dishes, but good variety. I think the total bill was about $260 including two bottles of wine. Fortunately we were in walking distance of home!

I am really surprised that I seem to be the first to submit a review for this restaurant. It is packed every time we go there. They have a fixed price menu that they call their "Tuscan menu" which is $17.99 during the week and $19.99 on I think Friday and Saturday. For this you get a four course meal with a choice of starter and entre; the courses apart from the main are a little small but we have never left feeling hungry and my wife and I can strongly recommend anything on this fixed price menu.
They also have an extensive a la carte menu with a wine list that you will not need a bank loan to select from. They also have a reasonably priced house wine that we usually have.
The only drawback that I have experienced is the noise level! This place is so popular that I find it very noisy. It is open plan and there is no sound deadening in any part of the decor.
We have also been for lunch in the summer and there is a nice elevated deck that we have seen but not been able to use - too busy!
Staff are great.
