A & A Burger Bar1391 West Central Street, Prince George
Go-to place for burgers in PG

These "home-made" burgers are made of local beef from Little Valley Farms with freshly baked bread. I've been 3 times (twice with a companion and once by myself) and have ordered the A&A signature burger, the SBD (single but delicious) burger, garden salad, fries (w/ coney sauce), and onion rings. While everything was delicious, I highly recommend the A&A burger with everything on it on whole-wheat bread. However, I would only recommend that if you have someone to share it with because it's HUGE. The fries are also delicious and made in house. I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the coney sauce, but I've never had coney sauce anywhere else before, so I don't know how it's suppose to taste like.

The one downfall is that the burgers don't come with any sides, and you need to order them separately.

These burgers are 80 times better than Fatburger (and I've been to Fatburger 3 times, ordering different types of burgers each time). Now, only if A&A does house-made onion rings!

Pho U & Me Restaurant1667 15th Avenue, Prince George
Fantastic Brothy Goodness!!
Submitted Sunday, November 21, 2010 - 12:43am [Dine in]

Having recently moved from the lower mainland to Prince George, I am very happy that there's Pho U & Me here. I've been to the restaurant 3 times and have ordered the house special beef noodle (w/ everything), the spring rolls every time due to its deliciousness. The broth does not taste like it is made with msg, which the cheerful hostess/ waitress confirmed, and even though I drink all the broth every time, I do not feel like I am dying from thirst a few hours later (which is usually the case with most pho soups).

When I went tonight, my order of pho came out within 5 mins and approx. 5 mins after that, the cook came out and asked whether I wanted more broth, which has NEVER happened in the countless times I've eaten in a vietnamese restaurant. The service is excellent, and the waitress is always happy to give you more water, napkins, etc.

I really hope this little gem in Prince George succeeds!
