... would be to send everyone there to try at least one menu item. I found this joint on a walk back from Kits beach one day and thought I'd try it. The first thing I ever had there was a spinach-tofu samosa, and it was the greatest little deep-fried snack I've ever had! Tasted like a spanakopita without the gross overpowering dill spice to it. It was amazing. The Katmandhu roll is my other fave, it's delicious and very filling for a sandwich-type thing.
Very friendly service, not too common in a fast-food joint(Budgies, anyone?). There's not much to the ambiance but it's definetly not meant to impress with lavish decor and music; it's small, there aren't many tables to sit, and the place was more than likely made for people who want to grab something to go. Still, you can definetly sit inside to enjoy your food and not be bothered by pestering waiters, excessively loud music, or bees(!).
I go there EVERY TIME I'm in Kits, it's nothing extravagant or high-end but it sure is delicious, and easy on the wallet. And need I mention HEALTHY? (I mean, even deep-fried items are far healthier than any greasefest burger you'd have anywhere else!)
