Very casual atmosphere, but comfortable. The menu is an East African BBQ/Indian fusion. There were 3 of us for lunch, and we decided to order the appetizer platter and one of the BBQ platters to share. All the food was excellent, with different levels of spicy-ness and unusual seasonings. The BBQ platter came with naan, salad, and our choice of veggie rice, fries, or more naan. We picked the rice, and it was awesome--amazingly seasoned and lots of it. All three of us ate until we were stuffed and we took home some leftovers. Our food choices were among the more expensive on the menu; but at around $11 per person, we were all impressed. I will definitely be back; and I think I'll be calling them for pick up on my way home from work instead of my usual.

If it hadn't been for the great company I was keeping, the night would have been a total disappointment. We went for my friend's birthday and the only reason I walked away with no remorse about the evening was because I had read all these reviews and was prepared for nothing special. And Nothing Special, it was.
The service was friendly but very slow--especially considering we were one of 3 tables seated at the time. It took about 15 minutes for the server to bring our one bottle of wine and one bottle of beer to the table. The main courses took an extremely long time to arrive. While we were waiting, the owner came around, handed out his business card to everyone, asked how we heard about his restaurant, and explained the way to cook the food. He was a little arrogant. I couldn't justify spending *that* much money on raw meat, so I had a mediocre caesar salad and "Neptune's Feast," which consisted of 2 prawns, 2 little scallops, and 2 mussels. If that's what Neptune feasts on, he must be seriously watching his calories.
The rest of the table had the stonegrill meals. Although watching them cook their own food was entertaining for a few minutes, the overall feeling was that the service, ambience, and entrees were not worth the prices. Nobody at my table will return; and I would also never even consider taking an out-of-town guest there. Go to Vij's or Ouisi instead.
Oh, and the lingering smell of cooked blood in your clothing once you get home is disgusting.
