Brunch on a special patio
Submitted Monday, July 3, 2006 - 11:57pm [Dine in]

We were walking by this spot on the hunt for late breakfast when the owner hailed us in! We decided to give it a try and were soo glad we did! I think brunch is a fairly new thing at Cassis. The three of us agreed it was a really cool find. The food and service were simply excellent. I love eggs benedict and this was the best I have tasted in my entire life! The patio is so sweet and yes you could imagine you were tucked away in the back of a cafe in Paris. Perfect spot for a romantic little tryst :) We've been twice now and highly recommend it.

Disappointed
Submitted Monday, July 3, 2006 - 11:29pm [Dine in]

This was our second visit to Capone's. The first was great with the blonde waitress that was very efficient. Tonight we were served by the bartender, who attended our table in between talking to chics at the bar, washing dishes etc. Two hostesses helped out by clearing our table occasionally. Several times we found ourselves waiting for service. The appy's were good. The single serving pizza was "fine" for 19.95. If we'd have had some service we might have even stuck around for dessert and coffee. $75.00 better spent elsewhere. Too bad! We love the atmosphere!

Good every time
Submitted Monday, July 3, 2006 - 11:19pm [Dine in]

We are so happy that we have Paul's Place to fall back on. We know that every time we go there the food and the service will be excellent. There is usually a wait to be seated, (sometimes up to 1/2 hr), but after you give your name you can leave and browse the neighbouring shops while you wait. My favourite is a 1/2 order of seafood eggs benedict with asparagus, and the fresh squeezed pink grapefruit juice is very good. I would guess the reason there are not more reviews on this great restaurant is because us regulars don't want it even busier than it already is! :)
