DOV 2009, delicious....enjoyable
Submitted Friday, January 16, 2009 - 4:23pm [Dine in]

This is not my first visit to West, however everytime it gave me a lot of surprise either from the drink to the food and the server.
at first, we ask our server to pick a drink for me and my husband, i just wnat some drink without alcohol and my husband ask her to pick a white wine to go for the oyster we order for starter. Which both drink really surprise us. Mine drink is a banana taset with some lime, is a very nice drink and the white wine she picked for my husband is awesome as well. Then we order dine out menu, the starter i have the ravioli and my husband have the pumpkin soup both of them were delicious. Main course we order beef and Salmom, my god, that Salmon is very out standing. AT the end the dessert for both of us is really great. Every time i went to west i never feel disappointed after the meal. Our Servers are very friendly and well knowledge of all the course.
Highly recommended

Before i step in octopus garden, i have read a lot of review and prepare for the DOV menu and thought i wont be very food for this DOV. however is a suprise for us.
We get seated @ the sushi bar which i always liek to be. When i get in the dine out menu is more then i expected, 3 courses to 4 courses and then my husband get a Taiyo menu for $100 which like a tasting menu everything is a surprise, but they still ask me what i like and what i dont. THe service is really friendly and also the chef, we seat in front of the sushi bar, and the chef will explain what i will have for today, the first thing we have is tofu cocktail, o my god the tofu is soft and sweet. then my husband got a surprise starter beside tofu, he got uni ccocktail, which made me fly the whole night. Then we have soup which is amazing. After that my husband got a assorted sashimi, please is wonderful. every sashimi is so tasty and fresh. then come with every small hot plate and sushi, i dont know how many dishes i have, and they are so nice they combin my DOV menu and his Taiyo menu, which they create a really good presentationfor each dish, the last dessert we have is a really nice close for the night, the assorted dessert we have is so stunning, the sobert and the moshi moshi roll.....thanks octopus garden we see u again very soon.

Then my husband got a roasted Veal for his main course is unbelievable stunning and the chicken i have is really really crispy the treat between is a little cocktail, which is a suprise. and then the treat between my dessert OMG is too nice.
The meal end up with a wonderful chocolate many ways desset. the hot white chocolate milk....please if you dont miss this one and my husband have a cheese to finish his dinner which is also good too. Submitted Saturday, January 12, 2008 - 10:08am [Dine in]

My first 2008 Dine out
Nu is my first restaurant of 2008 Dine out, actually i went last year, can gave me a very good expression. Therefore this year I want to try again, which impress me again. Compare to C restaurant, Nu gave me suprise every year, from the starter to Dessert, which is really unexpected. Also is only $25 per person, compare to some %35 menu experience, it gave way much better foor quality, Both start we had is one B.C. Albacore Fritter and Butternut Squash Soup is wonderful and the main course Duck and Lamb which is really tasty and can't miss them too. The dessert which is a good closing for my night. PLease dont miss the dine out of NU.
