A good place for breakfast...
Submitted Friday, August 7, 2009 - 12:06pm [Dine in]

... especially on Sundays. They've got an all-you-can-eat buffet that has pretty much everything you could ever want for breakfast. They also offer a good selection of juices and their coffee is always hot, prompt, and fresh - an important thing after a long Saturday night. The service is good and the lighting a little on the dim side, which is perfect for the kind of place it is. It's got this old-timey feel to the decor that's understated and appreciated, and the price simply cannot be beat. It's a perfect place to start a lazy Sunday and finish unwinding before the week starts again.

Best Italian in Surrey!

The Pico is a place that me and some friends like to meet for business lunches, going there every few weeks to enjoy the ambiance and food. It's a quiet place that you can just sort of unwind and they have the best calamari I've ever eaten. The booths are large and comfortable, the service is lovely, and the food is amazing.

A secret worth sharing!

The family used to come here once a year, making the trek out from Surrey for the good eats. It used to bug me that I could never find advertising for this place anywhere until my brother told me that the place is kind of a secret, the sort of thing you share with your nearest and dearest.

So I grew up and I've kept that idea alive, coming here with my friends every couple of months. A bunch of us get together, pool our money, refuse to eat all day and then come and gorge ourselves on the amazing food of this place. Three or four Ultimates later and none of us want to eat anything else for a couple of days.

You gotta make a reservation, though, and you gotta expect that there's gonna by a delay if you're coming on the weekends. The place is usually packed, a sort of testament to the quality of the food given the lack of attention this place gets media-wise. I think this is, bar none, the best food in the city.
