To sum up my night, the value of the set menu was not very good. My partner and I paid too much for too little, and alas, we were still hungry after our meal.
I did get to try my friend's dishes, which they ordered from the regular menu, and the food was decent and of better value than the set menu.
Service was okay, not great. I had a dirty water glass smeared with someone's lipstick (eew) and pointed it out to my server. He say "oh" and then took my glass away... and didn't return with another one. So I had to ask for another glass of water. No apology whatsoever.
At least I got free dessert from their disorganization. The server gave us our dessert from the set menu twice.
Needless to say, I won't be going back to this place any time soon.

I went for dinner at Tsunami Sushi with my boyfriend sometime in February 2008. We only had the food that was served on the boats at the bar. We were both unimpressed with the rolls and sushimi because they were not fresh and the flavour wasn't good either. I know prices are always higher on Robson Street because of the high rent, but at least make the pay worthwhile. We felt like we ate very little for a $30 meal. The quality of the food did NOT match the price we had to pay for our meal. Service was average. Atmosphere is okay. The idea of the boats around the bar is neat. All in all, our experience at this restaurant wasn't good, and needless to say, we will not be coming here in the near future!
