my husband and i went here for brunch and was really shocked at the portion.
keep in mind we are not 2 overweight persons looking for a vegas buffet blow out.
we are proudly fit and trim.
we would have been fine with the portion if the product was good but sadly not the case.
I ordered an omlette with ratatouille and my husband had the eggs bennie.
we waited 15 minutes for the food and the restaurant was 1/4 full if that.
the side of salad on both our plates had dead bits of lettuce and was overseasoned.
there was also a tiny strawberry that was sitting on top of the salad that smelled
of bleach. the dallop of ratatouille was basically tomatoe paste and salt. the waiter
looked at us like we had 2 heads when we requested a side of butter for my 1 slice
since we were so bloody hungry, we just quickly ate and chalked it up to
lesson learned. don't fall all the hype no matter what tv show the chef was on.

went on a wed nite with my husband for late supper.
considering the chefs backgrounds i expected the food to be decent but very dissapointed. chef was really heavy handed with the salt and i suspect the balsamic vinegar reduction in both my dishes. let me make it clear i am a saltaholic so...beware if u are on a low sodium diet, this is not the place for you.
the wine selection by the glass was very good. service was also great. they never hovered over u and never seemed frantic serving. it was all very proffesional which is something very very lacking in this city. the dining room is like a serene bistro. very simple but done right.
