Chicken shwarma

Great garlic hummous and chicken rice plate. Filling too. I crave this regularly. I find he plate better than the simple donair. The hot sauce is not hot in any way....more like tomato sauce.

They ask if you want cheese (crushed feta) on your food, it costs extra FYI.

The staff are grumpy and seem to be bothered that you are there ordering, but I think it is just them. I commented that I love the food and got a smile and short convo from the donair nazi one time.

Great food!! Follow the sauce menu for the best flavours. I recommend the curry combination. It has improved over the past while for cleanliness as mentioned in previous posts. Try this place and you won't be dissappointed.

Tip - go before 4pm for dinner as the price is higher after that. Lunch is the same $$ as before 4pm. One bowl filled is more than enough for a big eater, all you can eat is not needed.

Pretty good patties

Decided to try this shop since my son loves jamaican beef patties. I ordered the bulk frozen bags so he can cook them in our own oven at home. Ordered the hot beef, curry chicken and a pizza. I have had better tasting patties/crust but price wise a good value.

BIG sandwich

My wife, son and I bought 2 of his massive sandwiches today. He asked what type of bread, if we wanted hot sauce/mustard/mayo, then the slicing started.......meat after mat, then cheese, lettuce and joking with my son. We all enjoyed our 1/2 sandwich and will all go back again!!! Very neat place and guy.

My family's favorite Indian Restaurant. We always order the butter chicken, saag aloo, chicken pakoras (best I've had), aloo tikka (tasty thin potatoes), rice and naan.

Do yourself a favor and try this gem. Not the cheapest eats, but very tasty!!! Take out gets more quantity than eat in too.

Horrible food
Submitted Sunday, May 29, 2011 - 6:35pm [Take-out]

I ordered $50 worth of butter chicken, saag, chicken pakoras and aloo tikka to take out for my husband's birthday. The food was horrible and after eating a bit of it, we all threw it in the garbage. It tasted like the food was pre made and sitting around for a long time prior to picking it up. The chicken pieces in the butter chicken and pakoras was very dry and old tasting. The aloo tikka was extremely salty and my husband spit it out. We order Indian food regularly and can make better food at home.

I called and let the restaurant know that the food was not good and she said sorry and that was it.....couldn't care less. What a disappointment for a birthday dinner and waste of $50.

The naan was good however if that is any consolation.

Avoid this place at all cost.
