The humus arrived quickly and the pita was hot. The menu said the humus was so good you'll want the recipe, which was true, I did want it. It was delicious, I thought the other appetizers would arrive shortly, but I was disappointed to find I had to wait another ten minutes after the humus to get the rest. We had to continually ask for more pop, they didn't bother to notice that our water, or pops had gone dry. The cheese arrived, and it looked promising after the waiter lit it on fire and put the fire out by squeezing lemons on to it. The chicken livers looked good too. The cheese was all right, nothing special, but all right. I had one of the chicken livers, my husband ate the rest, I guess they were OK.

I was completely disappointed with the appearance of mine. When something says it comes with a salad, any type, I expect a good size salad. The salad that it came with was in a small dish that was smaller then the one used to serve the humus. I love Greek salad, so I started with that. The first bite I thought "Whats wrong with this?" I had a few more bites before realizing it was the feta, it was as though it had gone bad. I went on to the lamb and rice part, it was all right, I was expecting something a little different, but it was OK. I had a taste of my husbands calamari, it tasted good to me, a little undercooked though.

We finished up and wanted out, asked for the check immediately. I was shocked to find that for the 5 pops we drank, which were mostly ice, we were charged $9.95.

Overall, the place looked great, the service sucked, the food wasn't very good, and the way they ripped me off for the sodas was outrageous. The best thing about this place is the humus. After stepping out the door, I immediately said to my husband "I'm never coming here again."

Try if you like, but I thought it sucked.

I have been here a few times, never wanting to stand in line for the other place. I don't even bother thinking about the other place. I have heard from a few people that they prefer this one.

The non deep fried calamari is amazing and I recommend it to anybody who likes calamari. All the food is simply excellent, and the service is great. The staff are always pleasant and happy, laughing and joking. I enjoy the atmosphere too. Its cozy and comfortable. I have spent many evening with friends having a great time.

For great Greek food here is the place to go.

I have been to the one on Commercial Drive twice now. I have found the burgers to be absolutely delicious. I love the fact that you have to get up off your ass to put your own topping on the burger. It can be a little pricey, but well worth it. I would say this is the best burger I have had in this city. The staff is a little cocky, but very funny. Everybody was extremely helpful with tips on how to prepare your burger.

I had the mixed meat, and the lamb burger. I will be going back to try all the other burgers they offer as well. I'm extremely excited to try the Muskox. I love muskox meat and I'm anxious to see if it lives up to my expectations.

If you like burgers, and you enjoy a wide variety of meat, I definitely suggest you check this place out. The veggies for the toppings were all fresh. The daily burger special is excellent. I mean a burger, fries, and a pint for $10.99 not bad.

Biggest downside is the price they charge for extras like cheese, bacon, grilled onions, mushrooms. I found that $1 for a slice of cheese is a little steep, although they do melt it onto the burger. The two times I have been there they offered cheddar, swiss, and feta.

The fries were also quite good at this place. If you like mayo with your fries try the house mayo, its excellent.

Overall I would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a good burger. I will definitely be going back.
